Scott returned to NM and joined our team back in September 2021 as our Investment Operations Associate. He spent nearly 3 years with JP Morgan where he obtained his Series 7 & 66 FINRA Licenses. At JP Morgan he worked in various roles where he assisted clients and advisors with Corporate Actions, Margin & Options Trading. In this role Scott discovered his passion for the stock, bond, options markets, and how our industry functions & operates behind the scenes.

Scott meets with our Mutual Fund & ETF’s Wholesalers to uncover new investment solutions & receive market/fund updates. Utilizing CIO, Brent Schutte & his team’s resources, Scott completes the investment analysis/research for our team. Scott wears many caps on our team, but mainly he manages our client’s investment accounts, whether it be trading, money movements, account updates. Scott loves working with our client’s because of the direct impact he has on their accounts, and the direct impact our team & Northwestern Mutual have in our local community.

Scott moved to Columbus after enrolling at Capital University in 2014 and in 2020 purchased his first home in Franklinton. Scott is an avid dog lover, supporter of animal shelters & the proud owner of two Boxer Mix Rein-dogs, Donner & Comet…and yes that means there are 6 or 7 dog’s in Scott’s future. Scott is an avid fan & supporter of the 5th Line, the Ohio State Buckeyes, & Cincinnati Bengals.

Ryan is our Operations Manager and has been in the financial industries field for 10 years. Prior to joining us in 2022, Ryan helped thousands of people across the country manage their employer-sponsored retirement plans. He joined our team, because he wanted to help people with a more in-depth, well-rounded approach to financial planning.

Ryan joined the Air Force shortly after high school, where he was trained in and led multiple areas, from logistics and security to planning Professional Development Seminars for the Department of Defense. Ryan traveled the world while serving and was also deployed to Iraq under “Operation New Dawn”.

Ryan got married in 2023. Him and his wife, Heather, enjoy hiking, kayaking, and exploring new places together. Ryan is also a certified health coach, a big fan of MMA, and currently trains in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu.

Nick Reese joined our team full time in May 2024. He is our Client Onboarding Specialist who makes the transition from prospect to client seamless. Prior to joining us, Nick was in Northwestern Mutual’s internship program where he was the top performer and learned valuable information that directly translates to the work he does for clients today.

Nick graduated from The Ohio State University in May 2024 and holds his Ohio Life and Health Insurance licenses.

Nick has a strong passion for sports and longevity so in his free time you can catch him at the gym, playing any sport you can think of, or hanging out with friends and family.
